Sometimes we get carried away when we get online and begin marketing our businesses. We want the world to know what we do and feel the burning desire to share all the products and services we can provide. But what happens more often than not is we become so confined by the walls in our minds of how we ‘should’ advertise that we forget that the story behind the product also exists and that it is ultimately up to us to showcase that story and make it bigger. It’s up to you to connect that story to your business and share it with your market. They deserve to know more about you as a person as well as your business and it’s customers.
So stop selling and telling, instead share your story and invite people into your life. Think of it like throwing a housewarming party and inviting 50 friends. You wouldn’t just start handing them brochures would you?
